Today BlackBerry has announced their BlackBerry Z30 handset at an event in Malaysia where the launch of BBM for Android and iOS devices was expected. Now it is being said that BlackBerry will launch their BBM messaging service for Android and iOS tomorrow. There is a rumor that BlackBerry has planned an event for tomorrow at Jakarta in Indonesia where they will launch the handset.

BBM is a popular messaging service of BlackBerry which so far exists only on BlackBerry devices. But many rumors have surfaced where BBM was hinted to be released for Android and iOS. An apk package (Android Installation package file) was also leaked but is proved to be not working in any way. BlackBerry earlier announced that they would be releasing their popular messaging service BBM to Android and iOS in May earlier this year. But since then there have been no official information about the same.
There are also rumors that BBM will be released exclusively for Samsung devices for first three months. Samsung Mobile Nigeria tweeted that the BBM will be available this Friday, September 20th exclusively for Samsung devices for first three months.
It is believed that after announcing BBM for Android and iOS on September 19th, app will be available for download from Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store beginning September 20th. There has been no confirmation of any of these reports though whether the service will be announced tomorrow or not.
