The months of April and May are dedicated to all those Cricket lovers in India and around the world as the IPL 2013 (Indian Premier League 2013) is about to begin next week. For Cricket-lovers in India, it is not just a sport but a religion and for them we bring here information about the official BCCI app (Board of Control for Cricket in India app). The app is available for free for users of iOS and Android while Windows Phone users will have to look for IPL apps on their phone. We will find some for WP users and post about them soon.
The BCCI app for iOS and Android gives you all the updates on tournaments and series of the Indian Cricket Team and also every season of the IPL. The app gives you information on tournaments, result of matches, information of teams and statistics. You can also get latest news on international tournaments and series of Indian team.

For IPL 2013 or IPL 6 you can go to Other Tournaments and Series section at the bottom of the main screen of the app and select IPL. When IPL will commence you will be able to access the IPL section by going into Menu (menu button on upper-right corner) > Tournaments and Series and then select IPL.
Under the IPL section you can get latest team standings, latest news and videos. You can also view standings, latest news and videos for individual teams. Under the menu of IPL section of the app you can view schedule/results of matches, news, videos, photos, team squad, stats and venues. Under the Venues menu option you can select a venue and view matches to be played at a specific venue. Selecting a match on any screen gives you access to live commentary, scoreboard and live score of a match.

BCCI app also gives you access to Polls and Twitter updates to interact with others on the social network, you can also login to Twitter while within the app. The app has everything you may need to stay updated on matches of Indian team and also IPL.
The app is available for users of iPhone, iPad and Android phones/tablets. Download the BCCI app from iTunes and Google Play Store for free and get all the updates on IPL and other Tournaments/Series. The official BCCI app is not available for Windows Phone users, but we will let you know about some of the apps for IPL updates on your Windows Phone smartphone, so stay tuned.
